Outside the Pre-teen/Teen Rooms is a play area with benches and a bear sculpture- in honor of our beloved mascot CHOCO.
Open Monday- Friday 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm.
Saturday and Sundays from 10am-12pm and 2-4pm.
In partnership with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation we offer an interactive broadcast multi-media center to provide patients with an outlet to engage in activities related to radio, TV, and new media.
The programming is broadcast to patient rooms for those who cannot come downstairs. Please turn your TV channel to 36 to participate!
Shows run every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm-8:30pm and Sundays from 3pm-5pm.

A private, social area for our AYA patients featuring teen-oriented games and activities. Programming by child-life specialists.
Meditation & Prayer Center
This beautifully designed space is a quiet and sacred place designed to accommodate people of all faith traditions.
The theater provides the opportunity to get out of bed and have a more-normal moviegoing experience. The room includes high-quality projection and sound. There are 12 chairs with space to add chairs and have patients watch from wheelchairs or beds.
The movie theater is part of the hospital’s Child Life Department, which helps patients and their families cope.
The Gift Shop offers a wide variety of merchandise for our patients, visitors and staff and will gladly take phone orders for items to deliver to any CHOC patient. Just call 714-509-8668.
Thanks to Disneyland Resort for a magical interactive experience called Turtle Talk, much like the one at Disney’s California Adventure.

Features a library full of books and references for families to learn more about their child’s pediatric illness as well as general health and wellness, including a children’s section with books for all ages.
The business center with three computers, Wi-Fi, fax machine, printer and copier.
The Family Resource Center is open from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday- Friday.
